This one was really far gone. Its exposed oceanside location had led to extensive concrete cancer and there was resultant spoiling everywhere, with dozens of leaks, spoiled carpets, peeling walls – a real mess and not somewhere that would attract tenants prepared to pay for the privilege of living in such a great spot.
3,000 litres of concrete cancer treatment later, we had stabilised the building and extensive remedial work to the steel, masonry and internals could begin. All the windows were damaged beyond repair so they were upgraded. Then an re-render and re-paint and the place was like new and a much more attractive place to live.
